The Research Centre of the hospital known as Bhagwan Mahavir Medical Research Centre has been carrying out world class research in Tuberculosis and received huge grants for research from National and International funding agencies.
Hundreds of research papers were published in highly reputed National and International Journals with high impact factor. The research centre was recognized by various universities for Ph.D programme and many students were awarded Ph.D degrees from here.
Our research centre is recognized by Government of India as “Centre of Excellence for TB Research” in the Country.

Prof. Pardhanandana Reddy Penagaluru
Head of the Department of Environmental Toxicology and Research Director of BMMRC with 45 years of Research and Teaching experience in Radiation Biology, Environmental Toxicology and Genetics.
He has guided 45 Ph.D students, supervised 200+ M.Sc dissertations and published 326 research papers. He edited 18 books on genetics & mental retardation.
